Tired of being a LinkedIn lurker?
Jan 31, 2025
Try scheduling an hour on a slow day & batch creating content. Write it, clip it, carousels, whatever you like. Then schedule it to post in the future! On LinkedIn, this is easy, click the clock icon at the bottom of your window, then choose the date and time.
When should you schedule it?
Now that you are batching content, try experimenting with different times and days. According to Buffer, the highest engagement on average is experienced 9-5 on weekdays. You can also find heat maps for your industry & try different combinations of schedules. Credit to Buffer for the research behind this analysis of 5.5 million posts.
It's amazing what you can get done in one focused hour of creating content. We at FutureProof You love keeping a note file or Google Doc of content ideas, then building them out & scheduling to post automatically.
Remember, only 3% of LinkedIn's users post content regularly. That means the supply & demand of attention strongly favors the creators! Rather than remembering to post manually, try scheduling a week's worth of content, reviewing it a week later, then adjusting your schedule.
